Volunteer Opportunities Available
We are currently inviting volunteers in the following areas:
BBM Charity Shop
Assist with sorting donations, merchandising, customer service, and daily operations that help sustain our programs.
BBM Facilities (Cleaning & Cooking)
Support the upkeep of our spaces and assist with meal preparation for programs, workshops, and community initiatives.
Food Hamper Distribution
Help pack, organise, and distribute food hampers to families in need, offering practical support with compassion and respect.
Maintenance & Repairs
Assist with general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of BBM facilities to ensure safe, functional environments for our beneficiaries.
Administration
Support with filing, data capturing, communication, scheduling, and behind-the-scenes organisation that keeps BBM running efficiently.
Event Set-Up & Breakdown
Help prepare venues for workshops, community events, and fundraising initiatives — and assist with breakdown once events conclude.
Workshop Facilitations
For skilled volunteers and professionals: assist with or facilitate workshops aligned with BBM programs (life skills, personal development, faith-based growth, entrepreneurship, and more).
What to Expect as a BBM Volunteer
We value excellence, clarity, and alignment. To ensure a meaningful and positive experience for everyone involved, BBM volunteers go through a structured onboarding and induction process designed to set you up for success.
Structured Onboarding & Induction Includes:
- A Volunteer Handbook and introductory video hosted on the GraceFilled Learning Portal
- A short online quiz to ensure clarity, understanding, and alignment
- A simple electronic volunteer application form
This process helps us build a shared understanding of our mission, values, expectations, and code of conduct, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both volunteers and beneficiaries.
Volunteer Community & Ongoing Support
Our volunteer cycle runs on a three-month basis, allowing for clear planning, commitment, and impact.
- Once every quarter, we share a “Volunteers Needed” flyer on our social media platforms highlighting current opportunities.
- Volunteers receive BBM Program Lapels, allowing you to choose and represent the program you feel most called to champion.
- We host ongoing Volunteer Huddles, which include:
- Prayer and spiritual encouragement
- Community building
- Clear communication and support
